The Hvítá river is a beautiful and fun river an one hours drive from Reykjavík. For over 20 years the RiverFun rafting trip has been Iceland´s most popular adventure activity. The river has a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. We raft for 7 kilometers and at one point participants get to jump from a cliff into the river. No one should leave Iceland with out experiencing the power that its rivers contain and lay eyes on the scenic canyons of Brúarhlöđ in Hvítá.

Guaranteed departures: Everyday at 12:30 from Reykjavik and 14:00 from Drumbo basecamp. Available from the 1st of June to the 1st of September.

Price 5.990 ISK per person. With pick-up 8.990 ISK per person. Pick-up from Reykjavík available every day at 12:30. Distance from Reykjavik: 100 km. Duration of trip: 3-4 hours. Available: May to October (depending on weather). Minimum: 2 pax. Maximum: 200 pax. Age limit: 12 years. Bring with you: warm sweater, bathing suit, change of clothing and a towel.
