Sea-kayaking day tour on the Hvalfjord fjord near Reykjavik in Iceland

In under 40 minutes we will sweep you away from the city and you will find your self paddling on the serene and beautiful Hvalfjörður fjord. This deep fjord is framed in by mountains and ancient glacier fjords and valleys. The kayaks are stable and easy to use so you do not need prior experience, your guide will teach you the basics before you start paddling. We paddle along the coast and enjoy the magnificent views. Then we take to the shore and relax in the quiet Icelandic countryside, enjoying some light refreshments and stoic vistas.
In short we will pick you up from your hotel and take you paddling in one of the most breathtaking fjords in Iceland.
Guaranteed departures: on Mondays and Thursdays at 9:00 AM from Reykjavík from the 1st of June to the 31st of August.

Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing i.e. fleece sweater and pants, change of clothing and swimwear. Includes: kayaking gear. No knowledge of the sport required.
What is kayaking? Our kayaks are Dagger Exodus, the best open water kayaks available. They are closed boats so no water gets into them. You glide peacefully through the water, powered by your paddle strokes. You will be wearing a lifejacket; a specially made dry jacket and wet pants that will keep you warm even in the harshest off circumstances. Almost anyone can go paddling with us. Our guides will teach you everything you need to know. They will also paddle with you and are always in reach if anything should happen or if you simply have a question about the scenery!
