Before you go rafting with Arctic Rafting and Arctic Adventures you have to know that…
· YOU TAKE THIS TRIP AT YOUR OWN RISK.
· Consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly forbidden before and during your rafting trip.
· You have to sign a waiver and pay for your trip at the reception before you go rafting (This can be done in Reykjavík or at Drumbó Basecamp)
· You will have to paddle your raft.
· You may have to carry the raft.
· There is a possibility that you may fall overboard during your rafting trip.
· You have to obey your captain during the entire trip.
You have to bring with you:

- Swimming wear
- A warm sweater (wool or fleece) that you don’t mind getting wet.
- Towel (can also be rented at Drumbó Basecamp)
If you are driving your self you have to be at Drumbó Basecamp 15 min before you departure time. Here are directions:
Drive road no. 1 east from Reykjavík (the direction of Hveragerði).
Once you are past Hveragerði take a left turn just before the town of Selfoss up road no. 35 (direction Geysir).
Drive road no. 35 for approx. 30 min until you are past the small town of Reykholt. 5 min later you take a right turn at an Arctic Rafting sign.
Drive over a bridge and follow the signs all the way to Drumbó…
