In our snorkeling trips participants swim in specially made dry suits through the crystal clear
water of Silfra, volcanic fissure located in Thingvellir National Park. Although the water in Silfra can go down to 2 degrees Celsius (in simple terms; it is really really cold) our dry suits combined with warm clothing worn underneath makes this adventure possible. We breath through snorkles as we float along the fissure where we have an unobstructed view of the
landscape beneath the water level and using swim fins makes this adventure quite easy to participate in .
Thingvellir National Park is the site of the world’s oldest
parliament and the hidden gems of Silfra is an otherworldly scene no one should leave unseen. The crystal clear water in the
deep fissure gives you a feeling of being weightless as you float along
with the lazy current, visibility is amazing and the colors you see in the hidden world of Silfra are like nothing you have seen before.
Also available with the very popular combo trip, Black and Blue.
