Arctic Rafting is Iceland´s original river rafting company, we started our day tour rafting operation on the Hvítá River in South Iceland in 1983 and have never looked back! Our famous River Fun rafting adventure and River Ride white water canoeing trip on the Hvítá have long since achieved a special status in the hearts of Icelanders and of course many visiting travellers. We have taken more then 150.000 people down the river in our more then 25 years of operation, many have gone more then twice, some much more then that!

Our South Iceland base camp Drumbó is only 100 km from Reykjavík, suberbly located just 10 km from the Geysir Hot Springs and Gullfoss Waterfall. This great location allows you to combine your visit the Golden Circle sight seeing route with a river rafting or canoeing adventure down the Hvítá.

We offer daily departures from the 15th of May to the 11th of September at 10:00 and 14:00 from Drumbó, and if you choose ride with us from Reykjavík then the pick up is either between 8:30 to 9:00 AM or 12:00 to 12:30. If you plan to visit the Golden Circle on your own then the 14:00 departure fits perfectly into the time schedule and you can book your lunch at the base camp before the trip.

Over the last few years we have added many new combination adventure tours to our selection. These tours have become hugely sucessfull for three very good reason; you don´t have to choose between two great activities, you simply do them both; you save time and can thus experience more on your visit to Iceland; it´s hassle free since all our combos include lunch all transfers.
